As part of the 25th anniversary celebration of their legendary collaboration, The Black Crowes and Jimmy Page have released a new short film titled The Making of Jimmy Page & The Black Crowes: Live At The Greek.

The 11-minute documentary offers fans an intimate, behind-the-scenes look at the creation of the 1999 live album, blending newly recorded interviews with previously unseen footage. “Ultimately, we’re proud of it and we want to give it its due respect,” says Chris Robinson of the Crowes, while Jimmy Page adds, “It was such fun to do at the time. It’s infectious.” Rich Robinson echoes the sentiment, calling the experience “a journey.”

Originally recorded during explosive performances at L.A.’s Greek Theatre and New York’s Jones Beach Theater, the “Live at the Greek” album captures the raw power of both Led Zeppelin and the Black Crowes’ classics across 36 tracks.

Earlier this year, the reissue of Live at the Greek dropped with a brand-new mix and 16 previously unreleased tracks, including “Jams”—a spontaneous Page-Rich Robinson creation born during a soundcheck. The release also includes rare behind-the-scenes photos and video footage.

This short film deepens the story behind one of the most unique and electrifying rock collaborations of the late ’90s—offering fans a fresh way to relive the magic, 25 years later.
