I Prevail Rain Violent Nature — Rock band I Prevail has dropped a new single titled “Rain,” the third track released from their forthcoming album Violent Nature. The full album is scheduled for release on September 19, 2025.
“Rain” follows previous singles “Into Hell” and the title track “Violent Nature,” and marks a major step for the band as they move forward without longtime vocalist Brian Burkheiser. Burkheiser departed in May 2025, leaving Eric Vanlerberghe to take over all lead vocal duties. Guitarist Dylan Bowman continues to provide backing vocals.
Vanlerberghe shared that “Rain” was one of the first songs written for the new record and remains one of his personal favorites. The track explores themes of “acceptance of things out of your control and finding clarity,” according to Vanlerberghe.
Fans can now stream the music video for “Rain” on YouTube.
Violent Nature will be the band’s first album since Burkheiser’s departure. Although no longer part of I Prevail, Burkheiser clarified there is “no beef” between him and his former bandmates, though he expressed disappointment over how the transition occurred, saying he “didn’t deserve how things went down.”
I Prevail is currently on tour as part of the Summer of Loud tour lineup, sharing the stage with Beartooth, Killswitch Engage, and Parkway Drive.
