Marfa band—featuring Bryce Menchaca (lead guitar, vocals) and Kellen Wall (guitar, vocals)—has quickly made its mark in the Colorado music scene since forming in Denver in 2024. Drawing on Texas country roots, the classic rock icons they admire, and the harmony-rich Laurel Canyon sound of California, the band delivers music that feels both familiar and fresh.
Their debut single, “66”, was produced by Grammy® Award-winning producer Nick Waterhouse (Leon Bridges, Jon Batiste) and recorded at LA’s historic EastWest Studios, the same space where Pet Sounds and California Dreamin’ came to life. The track offers a road trip-ready blend of driving rhythms and timeless melodies.
The follow-up single, “Daisy”, was written in Laurel Canyon and produced by Grammy® Award-nominated Josh Block (Caamp, Leon Bridges). Echoing influences from CSNY to the Eagles, the song takes listeners on a harmony-driven acoustic journey in search of a long-lost friend.
Looking ahead, Marfa has “big happenings” planned for 2025, including new releases produced by three-time Grammy® Award-nominated Jonathan Wilson (Dawes, Father John Misty, Billy Strings).
Fans can follow the band’s journey and music updates via their official site and on Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
