Bonnaroo 2026 is officially scheduled to return from June 11 to 14 in Manchester, Tennessee, following the weather-shortened 2025 edition of the music and arts festival.
After three of the four planned days in 2025 were canceled due to extreme weather and flooding, organizers confirmed that the 2026 event will not only proceed as planned but will also include key upgrades across the festival grounds.
“In the 2025/2026 off-season we’ll be dedicating an additional multi-million-dollar budget and initiating improvements that prioritize the campgrounds and other areas affected by the extreme weather in 2025,” organizers shared on Bonnaroo’s official Instagram. “Some of these projects will include reseeding the property, continuing to increase access roads within the campgrounds, adding more drainage and reinforcing primary water runoff pathways.”
According to a statement reported by CNN, changes for Bonnaroo 2026 will also include:
- A reduced capacity, due to the decision not to use flood-prone campsites
- A new entry schedule, with camping arrivals and Outeroo programming moved to Wednesday
- A welcome party on Thursday, followed by full programming Friday through Sunday
- The Where in the Woods UFO Stage is being relocated to Centeroo
While festival organizers considered moving the event to a different season, they ultimately decided to keep the traditional June dates, citing it as the optimal time window.
The Bonnaroo 2026 lineup and ticket information have not yet been released. The 2025 lineup, before its cancellation, featured artists such as Queens of the Stone Age, Hozier, Vampire Weekend, Glass Animals, Megadeth, and Avril Lavigne.
Bonnaroo’s return marks a major step forward after the unexpected cancellation in 2025 and showcases the festival’s commitment to infrastructure resilience and long-term planning.
