Spiritbox Wembley Stadium show is happening this Saturday, as the band opens for Linkin Park at the iconic London venue. Frontwoman Courtney LaPlante described the opportunity as a major honor during a recent interview with Kerrang!.
“There’s not a lot of artists that would sell out Wembley Stadium that we might be a good match to open for,” LaPlante said. “It’s so incredible that a band like Linkin Park would invite us to share such a huge moment for them.”
Reflecting on the moment, LaPlante noted the surreal nature of playing such a legendary stage:
“I would never have thought that anyone would hear our music in that context. We’re about to see [what] ‘Cellar Door’ sounds like when it’s blasted in a stadium that size. Let’s see how that goes.”
Following the Wembley date, Spiritbox will return to the U.S. to perform at Milwaukee’s Summerfest on July 4, alongside Bad Omens.
The band’s latest album, Tsunami Sea, is out now and features the single “Perfect Soul.”
