The Strokes Reality Awaits is officially the band’s seventh studio album and first release since 2020’s The New Abnormal. Confirmed through a short teaser video posted to their social media accounts, the record is set to arrive this summer.

The teaser opens on an image of a vintage car with the tagline, “In The Flesh, It’s Even Sexier,” before revealing: “Reality Awaits — the new album by The Strokes. Out this summer.”

The band recently played San Francisco’s The Warfield and will next perform at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium ahead of their Saturday headline set at Coachella. Their 2026 festival run also includes Bonnaroo, Outside Lands, Just Like Heaven, and Shaky Knees, among others.
