Broken Record Denver Band: New Album “Routine” Release Show

Broken Record Denver band posing together in Denver ahead of their 2025 album release show at the Skylark Lounge

Released on October 14, 2025, through Power Goth Recordings, Routine represents the band’s third LP and a stylistic evolution toward a sharper, more urgent power-pop sound. While retaining their signature emo roots, the album highlights the group’s growing confidence and sonic maturity.

The Broken Record Denver band lineup—Lauren Beecher (vocals/guitar), Larson Ross (guitar), Corey Fruin (bass), and Nicholas Danes (drums)—worked with acclaimed producer Justin Pizzoferrato, known for his collaborations with Dinosaur Jr. and Wild Pink. The result is a record that feels both polished and emotionally raw.

Standout tracks like “T-60” and “A Small Step” showcase dynamic songwriting and layered guitar work from new member Larson Ross, adding fresh textures to the band’s sound.

Touring, Growth, and the Road to Skylark Lounge

The new material on Routine was written during a period of heavy touring. In the summer of 2024, Broken Record completed a West Coast tour, followed by a standout performance at The Fest 23 in Gainesville, Florida. These shows helped cement the band’s place within the evolving emo and punk community.

The November 15 release show at Denver’s Skylark Lounge serves as a homecoming celebration. Supporting acts Precocious Neophyte and Safekeeper will open the night, rounding out an evening dedicated to Colorado’s thriving indie music scene.
