Aurora Borealis Festival Colorado will return for its second year on October 10–11, 2025, bringing light, culture, and community to High Prairie Park in Aurora’s Painted Prairie neighborhood. Presented by Visit Aurora, this family-friendly event recreates the wonder of the Northern Lights with immersive and interactive light displays.
A Celebration of Light and Culture
The centerpiece of the Aurora Borealis Festival is a large-scale lighting installation designed to capture the movement, colors, and mystery of the natural aurora phenomenon. Visitors will be able to walk through glowing displays, transforming the park into an illuminated landscape.
Beyond the lights, the festival offers a wide range of activities for all ages:
- Global Gift Bazaar – handcrafted goods from local artisans
- Flavors of Aurora Food Court – diverse cuisine from local food trucks and vendors
- Live music & cultural performances – highlighting Aurora’s cultural diversity
