Conan Gray Wishbone has officially become the singer-songwriter’s first album to debut at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart. Released in August 2025, the project also secured Gray’s highest placement on the Billboard 200, entering at No. 3 for the week of August 30.

This milestone marks a turning point in Gray’s career. While his earlier albums, Kid Krow (2020) and Found Heaven (2024), both peaked at No. 2 on the sales chart, neither reached the top spot. With Wishbone, Gray not only achieved his first No. 1 but also surpassed his previous Billboard 200 peak of No. 5, set by Kid Krow.

The record’s debut week numbers underline its impact: Wishbone sold 53,000 copies, giving Gray his best sales week to date.

With this chart success, Conan Gray Wishbone cements Gray as one of today’s rising pop voices, combining commercial strength with growing critical acclaim.
