Billy Corgan Melissa Auf der Maur reunion took place Friday night in Montreal during Corgan’s show with his solo project, The Machines of God.

Auf der Maur, who joined The Smashing Pumpkins in 1999 after leaving Hole, appeared onstage with Corgan to perform “The Everlasting Gaze,” a single from the Machina/The Machines of God album.

“Merci to Melissa Auf der [Maur] for performing with The Machines of God last night in Montréal!” the Smashing Pumpkins shared in a Facebook post, accompanied by footage of the performance.

The Machines of God tour continues Monday in Philadelphia, featuring set lists that highlight songs from the Machina albums, as well as material from Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness and the band’s latest album, Aghori Mhori Mei.
