The Weezer The Gathering tour has been officially announced, with the band set to headline a U.S. arena run beginning this fall.
The tour launches on Sept. 8 in Sacramento, California, and will travel across the country before concluding on Oct. 24 in Los Angeles. Joining the lineup are The Shins and Silversun Pickups.
Presales for the tour begin March 31 at 10 a.m. local time. General ticket sales will follow on Friday at 10 a.m. local time.

To celebrate the announcement, the band is hosting a series of events in Los Angeles titled Weezer: The Gathering – Initiation Week.
Scheduled activities include a trivia night at the restaurant Barney’s Beanery on Thursday, along with a pickleball tournament featuring the band members on March 30.
In addition to the tour news, Weezer will premiere a new song titled “Shine Again” on April 1. The track serves as the first single from the band’s upcoming album, with the title and release date still to be announced.
The upcoming album follows Weezer’s two 2021 releases, OK Human and Van Weezer. In 2022, the band also released four EPs as part of their SZNZ project.
Meanwhile, the single “Go Away,” originally featured on their 2014 album Everything Will Be Alright in the End, is currently charting on the Billboard Alternative Airplay ranking after gaining traction on TikTok.
