The Cure Record Store Day 2026 lineup features two linked 2xLP collections: a newly remastered edition of Greatest Hits and its companion, Acoustic Hits. Both titles are issued as limited-run, silver “bio” colored vinyl exclusives, marking a significant 25th-anniversary milestone for the original 2001 compilations.
Curated and remastered by Robert Smith, these releases celebrate the band’s enduring legacy while utilizing eco-friendlier “bioplastic” pressings.
This edition of the 2001 singles compilation is limited to approximately 7,300 copies. The tracklist features definitive songs such as “Boys Don’t Cry,” “A Forest,” “Just Like Heaven,” “Lullaby,” “Lovesong,” and “Friday I’m In Love.”
Mirroring the electric set song-for-song, Acoustic Hits contains eighteen acoustic re-recordings. These versions were originally captured at Olympic Studios in August 2001 and were previously available only as a bonus disc with specific CD editions. This standalone vinyl release is limited to roughly 7,200 copies.
Both titles are presented as 2xLP sets on silver bio-vinyl. As official Record Store Day “exclusive” items, they are subject to limited-run availability and potential one-per-customer rules at participating retailers.

These releases are scheduled for Record Store Day on Saturday, April 18, 2026. Stock will be available at participating independent record shops across the US, UK, and EU. Any remaining copies are expected to be available online starting April 19–20, depending on regional timing.
The band has also designated these as charity-linked items: ÂŁ1 from every sale will be donated to War Child to support their ongoing humanitarian efforts.
