Notes:
Recorded at Rosenberg Studio autumn 1975.
Astarte is an ancient Mesopotamian Goddess of love and dates from 2000 BC. She is symbolically connected with supernatural mystery and sex. She is also the archetype of the Great Mother and corresponds to certain feminine deities in other places of the World. The front cover shows the famous Danish dancer Vivi Flindt “dressed” as Astarte. She was featured in a ballet written by Flemming Flindt and Knud Poulsen. The music on the record was composed for that spectacular show.
