Cheap Perfume Don’t Care. Didn’t Ask. is the upcoming third album from Colorado’s feminist punk powerhouse, set for release on October 3, 2025 via Snappy Little Numbers. The record is a fierce collection of protest songs that rage against capitalism, fascism, oppression, and systemic injustice—delivered with the band’s trademark mix of anger, melody, and riot grrrl energy.

An Uncompromising Call to Action

“’Don’t Care. Didn’t Ask.’ is an uninhibited call to anti-capitalist revolution presented as a collection of punk rock protest songs, breakup songs and party songs,” explains guitarist and vocalist Jane No. “It stays true to Cheap Perfume’s signature angry-yet-melodic sound while railing against systems of oppression and America’s descent into fascism.”

The album is preceded by the singles “Down to Riot” and “Woke Mind Virus,” both of which showcase the band’s mix of razor-sharp riffs and unapologetically political lyrics.

About Don’t Care. Didn’t Ask.

This 2025 release represents Cheap Perfume’s angriest and most urgent work to date. Its themes include:

  • Capitalist exploitation and the fight for class solidarity
  • Direct action and mutual aid as tools against systemic oppression
  • Defiance against fascism, explored through unrelenting hooks and punk anthems

Following their 2016 debut Nailed It and 2019’s Burn It Down—which gave us the anti-fascist anthem “It’s Okay to Punch Nazis”—Cheap Perfume’s new album raises the stakes even higher.

The Band Behind the Message

Formed in Colorado in 2015, Cheap Perfume is fronted by Stephanie Byrne (vocals) and Jane No (guitar/vocals), with Geoff Brent (bass) and David “Hott Dave” Grimm (drums) completing the lineup. Together, they’ve built a reputation for incendiary live shows filled with community spirit and zero tolerance for injustice.

Their music is as much about resistance as it is about release—champagne in one hand, a protest sign in the other.

Why This Album Matters

With Don’t Care. Didn’t Ask., Cheap Perfume cements their place as one of punk’s most vital voices. The album is not just another release; it’s a rallying cry for compassion, resistance, and solidarity in an era of apathy.

Join the resistance. Bring a bottle.
