Duke Jupiter – Band In Blue (1980 US Pressing) – Sealed / Mint (M)

Status: Factory Sealed. The vinyl is presumed Mint as it has never been opened or played. The jacket is clean and vibrant with tight shrink wrap. Note: As is common with vintage sealed stock, this copy has a small cut corner (deletion mark) on the sleeve, but the artwork and structural integrity are excellent.
Duke Jupiter is a cult favorite, particularly in their home turf of Upstate New York. They occupy that sweet spot of late 70s/early 80s Power Pop and Classic Rock—think REO Speedwagon meets The Cars.
This album, Band In Blue, captures them right at the turn of the decade (1980), featuring the standout tracks “If You Love Her” and the title track. It is a pristine, factory-sealed time capsule of unpretentious American rock.
Audiophile Note: This pressing features the STERLING stamp in the deadwax, indicating it was mastered at the legendary Sterling Sound NYC for superior audio fidelity.
