Easter Everywhere
2lp gatefold edition of the Elevators’ 1967 masterpiece.

Printing & Mfg. by Tanner ‘N’ Texas, Inc., 1422 West Poplar St., San Antonio 78207

All tracks published by Tapier Music – B. M. I. except “Baby Blue”, published by M. Witmark & Sons – A. S. C. A. P.

The mono edition of this album is ridiculously rare – surviving IA paperwork suggests only very few were pressed as white label promos for AM radio, and even fewer as mono stock copies that were probably only sold to order. The mono mix offers a more solid sound throughout, with a notably heavier bass mix compared to its stereo counterpart. There are also some obvious differences to the mono mix: the jug on ‘She Lives (In a Time of Her Own)’ is far more prominent; Levitation has a double tracked lead vocal; Roky’s harmonica solo on ‘I Had to Tell You’ is far clearer.

You know I went in thinking, “just maybe 1 or 2 albums….” This place is a gem! Came out the store with 10 albums. They have pretty much axed my list.
